this shovel is indestructible – kids can stomp on it, try to move beach boulders with it, and the thing does not break. we have had ours for 3 years – simply the best toy you can give a kid – some kids just love to dig, at the beach, in the back yard, in the alley – they can amuse themselves for hours digging – this shovel will stand up to all kinds of abuse – easy for their small hands to handles, and hoses down for cleaning. we have bought lots of toy shovels, at kmart, at toys stores, etc – but they all bust in a week or two… this is top quality. happy digging.

This shovel was a purchase for my nephew who likes to help his daddy with yard work. He is just over 2 years old and was able to carry it around with no problems. It was the perfect size for him. We were also able to take it apart so that if would fit in a checked luggage bag with ease.
